 Chalk Rock foggy morning

The Redwood Empire Endurance Riders invite you to join them at this year's Chalk Rock Ride. The Chalk Rock Ranch, a privately owned working cattle ranch, is the site for this beautiful ride. Located in the coastal mountains, this ride offers challenging climbs and spectacular views with plenty of water along trails and ranch roads. Elevations range from 1100 to 3050 feet. Mornings are usually damp and chilly (around 50 degrees), with afternoons sunny and warm (around 80 degrees). Camp is in a grassy glen along a shallow creek, shaded by oak and madrone trees. Water for horses is plentiful, but we recommend you bring your own drinking water. Portable toilet facilities will be provided. The nearest services available are ten miles away. No dogs allowed. No open fires permitted.

Location:
Camp is approximately 24 miles east of Highway 101 outside the town of Bridgeville. Take the Hydesville turn onto Highway 36 at Alton from Highway 101 and proceed east toward Bridgeville. Just before Bridgeville, cross the Bridgeville bridge and turn right, following the Chalk Rock Ride signs to the ride camp, about 2 miles on the right.
